Open An Account - Become a Tech Data Reseller Now!

To open an account and/or apply for credit, just complete and return the forms below. Tech Data’s New-Account Representatives work quickly to approve your application.

You will need a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader to display and print application forms. If you do not already have the Acrobat Reader, you can download a free copy from the Adobe Web Site.

The application process involves completing a Reseller Credit Application form online. Then print and fax it to Tech Data’s New Account’s Department. Typically this form will take about 20 minutes to complete.

Please read the compliance letter that can be found using this link. It contains important information concerning your new account.

Once you have completed and printed out all forms, simply sign the hard copies and fax to our new accounts department at 727-571-9168. ** IMPORTANT ** Please make sure you have all the necessary forms, fill them out completely, and sign at the appropriate places at the bottom, before faxing to us.

There is a $100 non-refundable reseller application processing fee. This fee can be paid by credit card by completing the appropriate section on the Reseller Application. Or, you can pay by sending check by mail to:

• Credit Card must match principle and/or company name listed on the reseller credit application with valid signature.

A rebate of $100 will be applied after 120 calendar days after the account has been opened, to the original credit card or the Tech Data account (If no credit card used) if sales are $1500 or more during the first 90 calendar days the account is open. The account must be current and in good credit standing to receive this rebate.

We will waive the $100 application processing fee if the responsible principal(s) of your company submit a signed personal guaranty with your reseller application. The personal guaranty form is provided as a link, within the reseller credit application and can also be accessed at www.techdata.com/personalguaranty.

After your reseller application is processed, you will receive an e-mail containing your account information; sales team phone number, and an expanded list of tech Data’s service offerings. This means you are ready to conveniently place orders and view our electronic catalog at www.techdata.com.

Electronic Commerce ID and Password

Once your account is set up, register for an Electronic Commerce Tech Data ID and Password by using the following link: http://www.techdata.com/content/idpassword/id_info.aspx#customer or contact our Electronic Commerce department at 1-800-553-7921 extension 77926, to establish your Electronic Commerce ID and Password. Your Electronic Commerce Tech Data ID and Password will be emailed to you within 3-5 business days after registering. Some links to our secure area of the Tech data website may not be able to be accessed until you receive your Electronic Commerce ID and Password.
