Technologies

- Information Protection
Consolidated data centers require simplified backup and recovery of data, with minimal disruption in application and network service levels.
- Application Availability
Data centers keep data protected and available to support business functions. When application servers are unavailable because of failures or system maintenance, the data is also unavailable, which means that the same level of service is needed for the protection of application servers that maintain data.
- Management
Use Legato GEMS Console for centralized monitoring and management control of Information Protection activities with NetWorker, both locally and remotely, and within multiple data centers.
Programs
The Legato NetWorker Competitive Upgrade Program for data protection products has been extended until June 30, 2002. This program offers special discounts to channel partners who displace competing installed products with eligible Legato product solutions.
Under this program, North American customers receive a discount on eligible NetWorker products (excluding Application Modules) on a "like-for-like" basis.
The Legato Upgrade Program is for customer upgrading to the next version of NetWorker or upgrading an Autochanger license. The customer will get credit, for the price of the old product, towards the purchase of the new license plus an administration fee. Please ask your Tech Data Enterprise representative for details.
