About Help
Online Help for Tech Data's Web site is context-sensitive and available directly from most screens of Tech Data's electronic commerce tools. To launch Help, click the "need help with this page?" link at the top or bottom right of each screen. Information about the current screen immediately appears.
For background and procedural information, click Overview or How-to at the top of the context Help. For reference information or information about other screens or processes, click Contents. A table of contents appears that lists all information in the Help system.
All Help appears in a separate browser window so you can read it and view part of the screen at the same time. If you click any part of the application screen, the Help window is minimized (falls to the background), but remains open. Clicking the Help link again does not re-display the Help window. You must do this manually from the task bar at the bottom of your screen.
Online Help conventions
Throughout the online Help:
- Words in bold type indicate buttons, icons, links, or other controls that instructions require you to select.
- Words in plain underlined type are links to related topics in the Help system.
- Proper names of interface objects are capitalized.
