Every member of the Tech Data team is personally responsible for conducting business in a legal and ethical manner – after all, Integrity and Accountability are two of our shared values. We stress the importance of doing what’s right when making decisions and acting in the best interest of Tech Data, our channel partners and our colleagues. This commitment goes beyond legal compliance to include Ethics, Data Privacy and Regulatory Compliance. Tech Data has an office of Ethics and Compliance, with dedicated full-time resources and Ethics Advisors across all regions.
Policies and Principles
To ensure all Tech Data stakeholders are acting in the best interest of the company, we have created several policies that clearly outline standards and expectations for each individual. We share these documents publicly to ensure everyone has access to them. They are reviewed [annually] and updated as necessary to ensure we are going beyond compliance and exceeding ethical expectations.
Education
Reinforcement of Tech Data’s commitment to compliance, ethics and integrity includes introduction to Ethics and Compliance during new hire orientation, online training of our Global Code of Conduct for all colleagues, and a combination of online and instructor led training for targeted groups on our key policies. Participation in our Global Code of Conduct program requires all colleagues to certify our policy, currently available in 21 languages, and complete the Global Code of Conduct course. The course includes an introductory video from our CEO emphasizing the importance of ethical decision making within Tech Data and in the communities where we do business.

Tech Data is committed to acting with integrity in all of our business dealings and promoting a culture of ethical behavior.
