Delivery is typically scheduled in 2 to 3 business days for San José. Deliveries to other locations may require 2 to 3 additional days, depending on the customer's location.

How can I pay for the freight if I don't have an open account with Tech Data?

If you don't have an account with us, you can use an authorized credit card or a wire transfer to pay for freight charges. Our invoice will include freight and insurance.

Will I have to pay for a broker once the shipment arrives in Costa Rica?

No, all nationalization charges will be paid by UPS, who will charge a nominal fee for the service

How much should I anticipate to pay for nationalization services?

The cost is based on the following table:

Taxes vary. Typically, they are applied to CIF value and are 15.26% for manuals, 17.52% for software and 16.39% for hardware. This information is only an estimate.

¿Who pays for nationalization charges and Customs fees?

The customer shall reimburse UPS for all expenses and taxes upon delivery of the shipment.

No, UPS also offers the service to most cities in Costa Rica.

What should I do if the shipment has not arrived within the estimated delivery time?

If you have the airway bill number, you should contact the Customer Service department of UPS in Costa Rica. If you don't have the airway bill number, you may contact your Tech Data Sales Representative in Miami to obtain the number, and then call UPS in Costa Rica.
