Tech Data promueve a Yuda Saydun a Presidente de la División Latinoamérica/Caribe

CLEARWATER, FL-- Tech Data Corporation announces the promotion of Yuda Saydun to the position of senior vice president, president of its Latin America/Caribbean division. Formerly senior vice president and general manager of Latin America/Caribbean, Saydun will continue to oversee and lead Tech Data's growth in the 36 countries of the Latin America/Caribbean region. Saydun is based at Tech Data's Latin American/Caribbean operations facility in Miami.
"Yuda has the depth and experience in the Latin American/Caribbean market to lead the company's mission to continue growing this business as we expand into the digital economy," said Néstor Cano, president of the Americas, Tech Data. "This region is of key strategic importance to Tech Data."
Since joining Tech Data in 1993 to lead the company's expansion into Latin America and the Caribbean, Saydun has built the division into one of the most successful full-line providers of IT products and logistics services in the region. Under Saydun's leadership, Tech Data launched the company's first South American in-country operation, TDBrasil, in 1996. In 1997, Saydun was promoted to senior vice president and general manager of Latin America/Caribbean. Tech Data's Latin American/ Caribbean division posted 50 percent growth in the company's most recently reported quarter.
Prior to joining Tech Data, Saydun was division vice president of card member marketing for American Express Travel Related Services Company Inc. He received his bachelor's degree in political and diplomatic sciences in 1975 at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium and earned his master's in business administration, finance/marketing at U.C.L.A in 1982. Saydun is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English.
