Sundaresan K, Vice President Next Generation Technologies & Country General Manager, India at Tech Data, is responsible for the strategic direction and profitable growth of Tech Data’s value-added IT solutions distribution business in India and next generation technology business in Asia Pacific. Sundar reports to Jaideep Malhotra, president, Tech Data, Asia Pacific. Sundar joined Tech Data in December, 2016, and has a rich experience in sales, risk management, legal, operations and finance in value added distribution and trading industries.
Prior to Tech Data, Sundar has held management roles within high-growth organizations including Executive Vice President, Software and Security at Redington India, Manager-Finance & Operations at Bhavani Impex, Kuala Lumpur. During his career span of over two decades, Sundar has led several successful initiatives including a managed security practice and a cloud business launch, as well as achieved record working capital results.
Sundar is an Associate Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, from the American College - Affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India.
