What is the transit time?

Delivery is typically scheduled in 2 to 3 business days for Guatemala City. Deliveries to other locations may require 2 to 3 additional days, depending on the customer's location.

How can I pay for the freight if I don't have an open account with Tech Data?

If you don't have an account with us, you can use an authorized credit card or a wire transfer to pay for freight charges. Our invoice will include freight and insurance.

Will I have to pay for a broker once the shipment arrives in Guatemala?

No, all nationalization charges will be paid by UPS for those shipments that do not exceed US$100. Shipments that exceed US$100 will be subject to a charge of US$42 to cover nationalization charges, since they are not considered courier shipments but cargo shipments.
The customer shall reimburse UPS all expenses, duties and taxes at the time of delivery. If the customer does not have money to pay at the time of delivery, UPS will make three attempts to deliver the shipment. The customer will be required to reimburse UPS for all nationalization expenses, duties and taxes before he is given posession of the shipment.

Is door-to-door service available only to Guatemala City?

What should I do if the shipment has not arrived within the estimated delivery time?

If you have the airway bill number, you should contact the Customer Service department of UPS in Guatemala. If you don't have the airway bill number, you may contact your Tech Data Sales Representative in Miami to obtain the number, and then call UPS in Guatemala.
